How do I earn a gift card through CompareUs?

Compare electricity, gas, or internet plans through CompareUs, apply for an eligible plan, and complete the provider's online sign-up process. Stay connected for a minimum of 45 days to qualify.

How much can I earn?

$50 for Electricity, $25 for Gas, and $25 for Internet — up to $100 if you switch all three through CompareUs.

When will I receive my gift card?

Eligible gift cards are sent by email, generally within 3–4 months of your connection being confirmed.

When does the offer end?

The offer ends on 31 July 2026. To be eligible, you need to apply for an eligible electricity, gas, or internet plan through CompareUs between 13 and 31 July 2026 and meet the offer conditions.

Can I earn a gift card for more than one service?

Yes. You can earn a separate gift card for each eligible service — Electricity, Gas, and Internet — switched through CompareUs.

Who is eligible for this offer?

New customers who apply for an eligible plan through CompareUs between 13 and 31 July 2026 and stay connected for at least 45 days. A new customer is someone who hasn't held an account with that retailer in the past 12 months. Existing AGL, ActewAGL, ENGIE, and EnergyAustralia customers may also be eligible, provided all other conditions are met.

What could make me ineligible for the reward?

Switching to a retailer you've held an account with in the past 12 months (outside the exceptions above), not staying connected for the minimum 45 days, or living in an area not currently serviced for comparison — this includes the Ergon area in QLD, the NT, embedded networks, non-quotable meters, and areas outside NBN or Opticomm coverage for Internet.

Can I redeem this offer more than once?

Yes, but only once every 6 months per property. If you have multiple properties, each is eligible for one redemption in that timeframe.

What should I do if I haven't received my gift card?

If it's been more than 4 months since your connection was confirmed and you haven't received your gift card, contact support@compareus.com.au with your name and connection details so we can look into it.
